HAPPY CLOWN, SAD BOY
carnival celebrations are big in many different places of greece. in chania, the streets become crowded with families. children are wearing costumes and it is common to see clowns on the streets and young roma boys and girls who sell balloons. many of these children work all day long without having a choice or earning any money for themselves. On this photo a clown makes a happy gesture, but the boy that holds the balloons is sad on the carnival day.
