THE BOY WHO looked AT SHOES

every year on GOod friday there is a tradition in chania. people go to the bazaar at the village called voukolies. they go there to buy vegetables and animals, but also shoes, clothes and toys for children. It seems very unfit such a joyous occation taking in consideration that on good friday, according to christian religion, jesus christ was crucified and died. This time, a car was full of shoes and a boy had to check them. but the shoes were too large to fit on his small feet. yet, he stayed there touching and looking at shoes that he wouldn’t buy enjoying the opportunity he had to look, touch and feel those new shoes.
