The bar by the sea
THERE ARE MANY BARS BY THE SEA IN CHANIA BUT ‘ARIA’ had one of THE BEST VIEWS. It really felt like you were inside a boat. the economic crisis affected ‘aria’. young people chose to go to different places to enjoy their coffee and went out less often. ‘aria’ closed down a few years ago. now, the walls are collapsing but noone seems to care. A man walked by the entrance of the deserted bar by the sea. When i asked him if he remembered the place, he said: i had forgotten that it existed.
